An appeal to Melbourne's mad weather!

Well yes I know the most common topic of discussions or to initiate a talk in Melbourne is to talk about its weather, and I say why not... It is one of the worst and dynamic weather I have every seen in my tiny life. They say in Melbourne you can see four seasons in a day and it is a hard core truth. It is actually as crazy as that... it is sunny in start, then a thunderstorm comes in by mid day, followed by showers in evening and a cold chilled night to end with.

Yes I have gone crazy with this weather so much that the first thing I am writing about this land down under is its weather :P Though I have heard good things about other major cities of Australia that they don't have as crazy weather and Melbourne being the most beautiful city in AUS has an exception when it comes to climate.

The reason behind my hue and cry for this weather is also that I haven't seen summers in last one year, last year i was in India and left from there to Aus when winters was on verge of going and as I landed here in Melbourne in February end this year it was no where near summers :O as i had thought to be.... apart from couple of sunny days it was either raining or cold :( and then Easter came and the mighty Winters arrived full fledge. :/ Since then they have made Melbourne their home. Another thing is that if it would have been only cold I could have survived with decent measures that I have here but the winds!! they make it worse and its not just winds, every fortnight or soon there is a 1-2 day long thunderstorm and god forbid if it rains ....its just terrible then. You can't carry an umbrella even innormal rainy days coz the winds are so fast, then think about having a thunderstorm x(

Melbourne is a heavenly place with so much of natural beauty, lively culture, abundance of european style cafes, restaurants and all the basic & luxurious needs anyone wish for.... I love this city!
But the weather ... it is killing at times, in fact every week there is hardly couple of days which are clear and sun is out without much disturbing winds and rest of the week its a struggle on roads.

Dear Melbourne's chilled weather, now that you have almost spoiled my spring and going by the forecast you are not planning to make it up for me anytime soon.... I have a heartily request to you that please spare my summers in Nov-Jan. I have been in cold for quite so long (a year almost) and would need some concentrated sunshine to survive like Jaadoo (a phunny character from a sci-fi Bollywood movie, don't bother!).

The bottom line is I need my sunshine .....!!!
So kindly pack your bags and shoo away from my home city .... I love Melbourne and I am not going anywhere coz of your stupid mood swings. I am no penguin, am a little sunshine girl.
